Tallington Lakes welcomes new surface for outdoor slope

November 2022

Tallington Lakes leisure park has had a brand-new surface fitted on its dry slope. The 35 year old slope has been replaced with the new Proslope (one of the closest artificial surfaces out there to mimic ‘snow-like’ conditions). As many skiers and snowboarders haven’t had the chance to hit the snowy mountains abroad these past two seasons, it offers an exciting opportunity to snowsport enthusiasts in the middle of England. Thanks to the matting and construction, which includes a shock absorption layer, everyone from beginners to expert skiers and snowboarders can enjoy the sliding safely without leaving the country.

Responsive and fast with excellent edge grip, Proslope is ideal for honing your mountain skills. Team GB Snowboard Olympian, Jamie Nicholls, said, “From the first moment I rode Proslope at Snowtrax a few years ago, I instantly felt the difference […] it feels more forgiving without losing any board control. Proslope [is] my go-to choice.”

The slope is now complete and operational with private and group lessons, racing and freestyle coaching and competitions on offer. The knowledgeable staff at the Pro Shop, located just off the dry slope, are also on hand with new gear and a boot fitting service.

Tallington Lakes will be kicking off the winter with a Christmas Freestyle Open Day in December. Keep up to date with all news and events from Tallington Lakes at https://www.tallington.com/ @tallington_lakes
