Slide On Snow is the UK snowsport industry's annual equipment test. Every year the UK's snowsport retailers and equipment suppliers, along with winter sport media and industry professionals, get together in the mountains for a week of testing the next season's snowsport gear. Testing everything from skis and boots, to outerwear, gloves, goggles and the latest tech designed to make your time on the mountain run more smoothly, it's an important week for the industry to get together in the mountains, catch up and make new connections.
Registered testers can evaluate skis and boots, and record their test scores on the test app. These scores are then pooled and distributed amongst testers for further evaluation post-test.
The test is not only a key week on the calendar for buyers making tough decisions on orders for the following season and media reporting on the latest equipment and trends, but it's also a great opportunity to get together in the mountains. There's a jam packed social itinerary with fun events scattered throughout the week and the test site is the perfect place to meet new people in the industry.

In 2026 the SIGB Snow Test (Slide on Snow) will take place in Champoluc in Italy. This traditional mountain town in the Monterosa ski area, offers an exciting new test location and access to extensive, varied terrain, ideal for putting next season’s gear through its paces. With quick lap turnarounds and efficient lift infrastructure, Champoluc provides an ideal setting for focused testing, easy logistics, and all with great value and Italian hospitality.
The resort itself sits at an altitude of 1,570m and the ski area is linked with Gressoney and Alagna providing access to 180km of pistes between 1,200m and 2,970m, with miles of off piste potential.
