The 2025 Snow Test is days away, here's a few useful reminders before you arrive in La Clusaz.
Test Set-up for Brands
The resort have asked us to set-up after 2pm on Sunday 26th January. The event site area will be busy with weekend skiers, so please be courteous and aware. Please do not bring vehicles onto the test site while the lifts are running and the public are present. You can park nearby in the car park. Later in the afternoon, drop-off vehicle access is possible next to the Test site, but please be careful and remove your vehicle immediately after dropping off equipment. Test site opens 0900 Monday 27 January, closes 1600 Friday 31 January.
Parking
Free parking is available in the lift station car park close to the event site.
App access & Data roaming
Testers using the new Snow Test App on their phones to input scores etc will need to be online - it’s a web-based application. Around the test site area and most of the ski domain and there is an excellent 4G signal, so the website should work quickly and efficiently. Please remember you will need to have your roaming/mobile data enabled to use it, so don't forget to check your contract and settings before you leave the UK. There is also a free wi-fi network you can use at the test site bar/restaurant.
Power supply for brands
Power will be supplied to the various areas of the Test Site through normal 13 amp sockets.
Remember to bring your own extension cable and multi-socket.
IMPORTANT! Please ensure your appliances have been PAT-tested to avoid tripping the system! If your plug or appliance is faulty or poorly wired it can knock out the power to the whole site.
Secure your gazebo
Remember weights to secure your gazebo in the event of high winds (none forecast as yet).
Lift passes
Everyone who has registered will be on the list at the lift office cash desk at Balme. Your name will be checked when you show your accreditation – you can then access the discounted lift passes. This is available from Sunday morning.

Logins & Accreditations
Testers
Tester Logins are being sent out by email on Monday 20 January (today). If we don’t have your individual email address, your login will be sent to the lead name in your organisation. Once you’ve received your login, use it to access the app, and download your digital wallet pass (like a boarding pass) which you can use on your phone as your unique accreditation. You can also pick up a lanyard version of this pass from 2pm on Sunday at the Test site organisers’ tent.
Brand delegates
All brand delegates’ accreditations will be emailed to them directly by end Wednesday 22 January. If we don’t have your individual email address, your login will be sent to the lead name in your organisation. Individual brand delegates can send us their email address by end of Tuesday 21 Jan. Please send name, organisation, email address and mobile number to sarah@hillsideoutside.com
